The proposed development includes 55 Apartments with 28 No. units within the Existing Listed Building and 27 No. units within the New Build Block. The design has considered the Architectural and Historic significance of Garrow House and the Marist College building and the proposals are deemed to be in keeping with the historic dormitory and boarding use of these buildings. Furthermore, the proposed alterations are also deemed acceptable interventions since there is little remaining internal fabric of architectural interest.
